Purchased this to help remove self tanner and help prep my skin to reapply self tanner. It is great for exfoliating your skin prepping for the next round of self tanner. It doesn't help much with removing self tanner. I have used it in the shower as well as soaked in the tub before using it and that didn't make much different.
