These lights are nice and bright and stay on all night. I have other Gama Sonic solar lights also. One of them, which I didn't buy from Amazon, had a problem so I contacted Gama Sonic directly because they have a 2-year warranty. The poles are in two parts, so you have a choice of heights the light is above the surface. Battery replacements are expensive, but you should get two years or more from a battery. You have a choice of a quite bright white light or a less bright yellow light.
