The quintessential robotic floor cleaner
This Eufy Omni S2 vacuum and mopping robot is absolutely fabulous. It has all the features that I have been looking at in a robotic vacuum and more. I have two Eufy robots (C20 and C28) that perform very well but this one is hands down the best of the best. The tower is not only sleek but very aesthetically pleasing. The initial mapping is done very efficiently from the start. The robot feature that I love the most is the elevation of the mopping roll. I have a thick area carpet and my other Eufy C28 will rise up to 12 mm (0.47 inches) and at times I notice wet spots on my carpet. This Omini S2 rises a whopping 28 mm (1.1 inches and definitely the carpet is not mopped at all but instead it has a powerful 30,000 PA suction that really sucks up dirt like a regular handheld vacuum. This is a huge advantage for this robot. I thought my C28 suction was huge at 15,000 but this is just incredible.
The only feature that did not quite well worked was that although the robot literature says that it can detect carpet tassels using “MatrixEye Cameras” a feature not available in any robot that I have owned, my experience is that it DID NOT recognize the tassels as they are small and thin. So, I will need to continue to secure my carpet tassels folded down and secure them to the floor with double face tape to avoid the robot from sucking them. I will be trying a no-go zone in the App and will update on this review if that will help.
Another feature that is simply amazing is that the tower with turn ordinary tap water into sanitized ozone water that then is used to clean the floors and the mop in real time. I find that feature simply out of this world. That means the floors are sanitized and certified to clean the floors and the mop itself constantly in real time while is doing the mopping. They even mention that the floors will be cleaner than my dinning table surface which I found funny but definitely interesting.
I have marble floors and the feeling on bare feet is absolutely great. The mop itself is then washed with hot water and then dried for next day job. This prevents a smelly mop.
There are so many features like fragrance pods, extendable side brushes that will scoop every single corner of my house and allergen filtration that blow my mind so my overall experience with the S2 is that this robot is the quintessential floor cleaning robot and this alone justifies the price for those that can afford it.

One of the best household purchase decisions I've ever made.
I recently researched and compared a myriad of robotic vacuum/mop combos -- it was a big purchasing decision, for me. The new Eufy Omni S2 is the hands-down winner for our household. So many features, it's a challenge to describe them all.
Household: ~2,300sf, 2 levels. Hardwood, wall2wall carpet, tile, some area rugs (the Omni S2 avoids fringe, btw). Occupants: 2 senior adults who find housework tedious, 2 hairy dogs, 1 very messy bird, visiting grandkids.
Appearance: the base unit is taller (3') and slimmer than others; gives a contemporary, unobtrusive look. An easy-to-see LED display on top shows key operating functions.
A circular blue light is visible beneath the translucent grey fresh water tank. Bubbles effervesce from it while it's electrolyzing the water: 99.9% effective at eliminating germs. The unique cyclonic dust bin/filter is 95% effective at eliminating allergens including pet dander and dust mites. The Eufy Omni S2 doesn't just "clean", it helps sterilize surfaces and improve air quality within your home.
The robot is square, with rounded edges; combined with 2 beefy side brushes and an extendable mop, it cleans corners and edges far better than round models I tried. It has a translucent removable cover; an ambient blue light beneath it illuminates the dust bin in action (can be turned off if you prefer. I find it rather fascinating).
The 3D MatrixEye 2.0 navigation detects and recognizes more small items than many other high-end nav systems I've tried. Even dodges pet accidents: a huge plus for me, after a prior robovac erred that way (why I was ISO a new one. Ugh). It quickly individually mapped both house levels, refines mapping as it goes. The app is fairly intuitive, offers lots of features for personal cleaning preferences and needs.
The robot auto-lifts to handle thresholds and carpet pile up to ~2". At ~3" tall, it gets to areas others didn't -- I was surprised to see it glide beneath my low-clearance bathroom vanity.
Vacuum: the DualSpin main brush lifts even embedded hair, zero wrap. 30K Pa gives incredible suction. My 15 yr old carpet looks rejuvenated. The multi-cone cyclonic dust and debris system collects even fine particulates, including the allergens mentioned above. Returns to dock to self-empty all into a disposable 5-ply, hypoallergenic dust bag (accessed below the fresh water tank) with a baffle design that helps prevent clogging.
Mop: the mop head looks like a paint roller, vs flat circular pads. 15N pressure tackles even dried-on spills. Constantly self-cleaning during operation via an onboard water tank and HydroJet technology, so dirt doesn't just build up on the roller. Returns to base as needed for hot-water washing and hot-air drying. Wash/dry time can take up to an hour, but it nixes bacteria, musty smells. The base holds a disposable insert that adds cleaning fluid to the fresh water tank if/as desired. Mop head extends to one side to clean edges, even under overhangs. Lifts to avoid wetting carpet.
Only thing "missing": a retractable mop head shield to further protect carpet, which some robovacs have. Not an issue for me; just one of only 2 small improvements I might add to the Omni S2. The other: I'd appreciate inclusion of a more comprehensive hardcopy manual, but tutorials are easily available online.
Very quiet operation even while self-emptying/cleaning. The dogs don't even bother to bark at it. Has a DND mode.
A luxe added touch: the robot accepts an essential oil pod that diffuses scent during operation, subtle but enjoyable. Comes with a supply of 3, very nicely presented, each lasts ~60days, refills can be ordered.
Easy to maintain, though there are more "moving parts" than very basic models. The app alerts you to disposables (bags, filters, etc) reaching the end of their lifespan.
I'm so fond of my Eufy Omni S2 that I've named it. That reminds me, it integrates with Siri, Alexa, Google Home. It's not inexpensive -- but the high quality is there. Eufy (an affiliate of Anker) also has stellar Customer Service, in my experience: prompt, courteous; sincere dedication to full customer satisfaction.
The Omni S2 knocks at least two of my least favorite chores off my list, and is better at them than I ever was. One of the best household decisions I've ever made. "Treat yo'self."

This Robot Vacuum Feels Like It Came from the Year 2035 🤖🧹
I’ve looked at a lot of robot vacuums over the years, and the eufy Omni S2 honestly feels less like a vacuum cleaner and more like a tiny autonomous housekeeping system with a master’s degree in floor care. 😄
The feature list on this thing is completely ridiculous in the best possible way:
* 30,000 Pa suction
* self-emptying
* self-cleaning mop
* hot water mop washing
* hot air drying
* advanced obstacle recognition
* intelligent mapping
* fragrance diffusion
* allergen filtration
At this point I fully expected it to roll up beside me and politely ask whether I preferred still or sparkling water while it cleaned the kitchen. 😄
The biggest thing that impressed me is how refined and intelligent the whole system feels. This is not one of those older robot vacuums that bounces around the house like a confused hockey puck repeatedly headbutting furniture. The navigation is smooth, logical, and surprisingly efficient. It maps rooms quickly and cleans in organized patterns instead of random chaos.
The HydroJet self-cleaning mop system is probably my favorite feature. One of my biggest complaints with older robot mops has always been the feeling that they were just dragging dirty water around the house. This system continuously cleans the roller mop while it works, then washes it afterward with hot water and dries it with heated air. That’s a massive upgrade over traditional robot mopping systems.
The suction power is also seriously impressive. Thirty thousand Pascals is getting into “accidentally vacuumed the soul out of the area rug” territory. 😄 It handles dust, debris, and carpet cleaning more like a full-size vacuum than a typical robot cleaner.
I also love the premium details:
* automatic mop lifting for carpets
* separate clean and dirty water tanks
* advanced filtration
* anti-tangle brushes
* quiet operation
* fragrance integration
* hot-air drying to prevent musty mop smells
The clean/dirty water separation especially makes the whole process feel far more sanitary and intelligently designed.
Now let’s address the titanium-plated elephant in the room:
this thing costs sixteen hundred dollars. 😄💸
That is a serious amount of money for a vacuum cleaner. At this price point, you begin expecting the robot to occasionally announce:
> “Good evening. Sanitation protocols have been completed.”
But honestly? This really does feel like a flagship-level cleaning machine rather than just another robot vacuum. The engineering, automation, and sheer number of features are genuinely impressive.
If you want one of the most advanced all-in-one robot vacuum and mop systems currently available, this thing absolutely feels like the luxury-class version of robotic floor cleaning.

Not good for marble floors
I Purchased the Eufy S2 thinking it was going to be the greatest mop because I heard it was the best but I was very disappointed how it did on my marble floors it left water stains all over my floors. The water level was to the lowest yet still it left to much water on the floor. I had better results with the New Roborock S 20 which in my opinion performed much better and the software is more advanced.

Best Robot Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned – Worth Every Penny
I’ve had the eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S2 for a short time now, and I can confidently say this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. This isn’t just a robot vacuum—it’s a complete, all-in-one cleaning system that truly feels like having a professional cleaning crew built into your home.
First off, the performance is incredible. The vacuuming is powerful and consistent, picking up everything from fine dust to larger debris without missing a beat. The navigation is smart and efficient—it maps your home quickly and cleans in a logical pattern instead of bouncing around randomly. You can tell right away this is a premium product designed to actually work, not just look good.
Where this system really separates itself is the mopping and water management setup. The dual water tank system—with a dedicated fresh water tank and a gray water tank—is a game changer. It constantly uses clean water to mop your floors and then separates out the dirty water, so you’re never just spreading grime around. The HydroJet™ system keeps the mop clean while it’s running, and the results speak for themselves—floors come out spotless, with a true “just cleaned” feel every time.
The added features take it to another level. The air freshener integration is a small touch that makes a big difference—it leaves your home smelling clean, not just looking clean. It’s those kinds of details that show how much thought went into this product. Everything works together seamlessly, from the self-emptying dustbin to the mop washing and drying system. You really don’t have to do much at all—just let it run and it handles the rest.
Another thing I appreciate is how quiet and refined it is. Even with all this power, it operates smoothly without being disruptive. You can run it during the day, at night, or while you’re home without it getting in the way.
And then there’s the value. Yes, it’s an investment—but when you consider everything it does, it’s absolutely worth the money. You’re saving time, effort, and honestly a lot of stress. Coming home to clean floors every day without lifting a finger is something you quickly get used to.
On top of that, eufy’s customer service is top-notch. That really matters when you’re buying something like this. Knowing the company stands behind their product and is there to help if you need anything gives you extra confidence in the purchase. It feels like you’re getting not just a product, but a full support system behind it.
Overall, this is a dream team in one machine—powerful vacuuming, advanced mopping, smart features, and thoughtful extras like the air freshener and dual water tanks. If you’re looking for the best of the best in home cleaning automation, this is it. Highly recommended.
