The friction material of the Hi Performance Friction Plates do not contain any cork or rubber material to assist with the reduction

Love this blanket! It is the perfect size, medium weight and looks really chic draped over the back of a couch. Washing and drying it has been easy although, the "fur" does matte down after being in the dryer. But you can easily fluff it back up to being soft again by running a brush over it. It doesn't even pull out the material, just fluffs it right back up. Really great purchase for the price point compared to other major brands.
