The three temperature settings are convenient and the LED readouts ensure your brew is as hot as you want it to be. Not sure about reviews saying this warmer makes drinks lukewarm because it doesn't. In fact, it can be used to reheat drinks in just a few minutes. I also like that it's a 120v plug-in and it's not the weak, slow, and temperamental USB powered one. One tip: The on-off switch is on the underside of the warmer. It must be depressed for it to power on. If the red LED doesn't indicate the temperature, then the warmer is not on (or the button is broken). You don't have to turn the unit over either to press the power button, just press down on your mug until the temperature LED turns on. The other hint is that this warmer can get very hot very quickly. While the edges stay cool to the touch, never touch the outlined hotplate area or you might get burned. Wait for it too cool down or use a pair of oven mitts---it's that hot.
