Blaster Wood SkimboardThe Blaster skimboard is a 41in poplar wood core with a high quality IXPE foam traction pad. This skim board has a lightly varnished bottom for water proofing and a smooth ride. The IXPE foam deck is designed with a crocodile skin pattern that fully seals against the edge of the board so it won't peel easily. Weighing in at a lightweight 5. 2lbs the Blaster is recommended for riders that are 95 140 lbs.

The quality of these is very good. They break the wind very well. Too well, actually. On my bike when going above 60 MPH they press hard enough on the clutch to be a problem. I'm sure I'll still use them but they won't be of any value on the interstate. It's possible to hold the clutch while using them but, for me at least, I don't have the strength to do it for my 45 minute commute. Unfortunately, the openings seem to fold up making it difficult to get gloved hands into them quickly, which is my reason for subtracting a star.
