Neat book, but anyone who is a huge Homer fan, like my husband (who the book was for) will not learn anything new - so I am told. Although there is a ton of great info in there about Homer and his friends/everyday life, it's a huge disappointment to hear that he already knows everything in the book. I bought this book for my girlfriend who is a big Ralph Wiggum fan. When it arrived, I was shocked to see what a thorough exploration of the character it was. I'm not saying it's all canon in terms of the show, as i saw some complaints that there was stuff in this book that wouldn't make sense to the Ralph character (such as his love for Lisa) due to them "breaking up" in a past episode, but come on, that's a hogwash complaint. The whole point of this book is to entertain, and it does so in spades, so it comes highly recommended. And this is coming from a huge 'The Simpsons' fan himself. Oh, and by the way, my girlfriend loved it, too.
