Wow when they describe these magnets as “super string” they are not joking! Magnets are so strong you must be careful when placing them on your metal cabinet, lest it pinch your finger when the magnet grabs the metal!
This is an awesome product. The hooks have a hole in their base that fits over a threaded post / bolt coming out of the center of the magnet and the kit comes with two washers, lock washers, and bolts to attach the hooks to the magnets. Takes about one minute per magnet to assemble. Once on the wall they feel like they will hold a lot of weight though I did not try to test the upper limit. No problem at all holding yard tools and the like. The hooks or arms have a nice rubberized coating and extend about 4.5” out from the wall. At $15 each these seemed a little pricy but wow what a great solution for hanging things on metal walls. They work so well I will be buying more of these! I actually have some other similar very strong round magnets made for a similar purpose … but they do not have the “built-in” hooks like these do and it makes a big difference for the usefulness!
