I just opened this to try it so I can't speak on if it breaks me out but the expiration date is good it doesn't expire until next summer. It's not thick at all very liquid actually but not a messy. I skipped moisturizer today to see how the hydration will be. I have severe dry skin so we will see. Very oily, glowy, moisturizing. I used it on my face and arms.
